Ingredients

• 50ml vodka
• 15ml Cointreau or Triple Sec
• 25ml sugar syrup
• 25ml lemon juice

Instructions

1. Add all the liquids into a cocktail shaker
2. Fill the shaker with ice
3. Shake for 10 seconds
4. Double strain into a glass
5. Garnish: chilled glass, with a sugar rim

Substitutions and alternatives
Instead of making homemade ginger syrup, you can use the syrup from Stem Ginger in a jar. Or simply make a brown sugar syrup (50g demerara sugar dissolved in 50ml of water).
