The experience
Koj gives you an insight into how he makes Japanese cooking simple. He will offer advice, techniques, cooking tips, philosophies on presentation and information on Japanese ingredients and how to use them outside Japanese cuisine in every day cooking. Koj brings recipes from his book “NO SUSHI” to life through online demonstration, feedback and step by step guidance to recreate his recipes at home. There’s no better time to learn how to “fakeaway”, impress your colleagues and indulge your inner MasterChef.
The recipes
Koj has taken a selection of recipes from his book and tailored them for teaching online. He has partnered with SousChef to deliver you a box of Japanese ingredients chosen especially by him. His book explains why Japanese cuisine is more than just sushi and documents why he opened a niche cuisine restaurant in a Cotswold town. Each recipe is illustrated the dishes that he created in his restaurant to attract both Japanophiles and those who are put off by its reputation for raw fish. Described as a ‘love letter to his father’, this is part recipe book, part autobiography.
